The MM5 is a 5 watt (conservatively rated) single ended tube amplifier. Don't let the wattage fool you , its a full-sized 1X12 combo. The cabinet is designed and constructed to be non-resonant and lets the amp work the speaker without having unwanted overtones added to the sound. The cabinet size was designed for optimizing the efficiency of the Celestion blue speaker for articulate sound reproduction. The results are outstanding clean tones and depending on volume level, pick-up type, and pick attack the overdriven distortion is much more articulate than higher priced 18 watt amps. As a by-product of the circuitry, components and high quality cabinetry, it also excells at amplifying electric-acoustic guitars. They sound phenominal with the MM 5 combo (finger pick'in Taylor T5 clips are in the works) you won't believe its only 5 watts, or your ears.
